Drs receptionists and privacy.

Leather Man, the only way I can see that you have been identified is if the receptionist in question has read the your post, realised it was her and is trying to silence you.

 

This could be the start of something serious for this person so maybe you should refrain from posting anymore info about it in case it does escalate.

On a side note....

When living in Sheffield I was never asked by the receptionist for a reason why I needed to see the doc. An appointment was offered, often some days later. A same day appointment was available if I telephoned early morning.

 

These days I can just walk into the docs (no appointment needed) and the doc will see me.

One more advantage of living in a small community I suppose.
