NORTON OAKES CRICKET CLUB CAR BOOT - 18th MAY 2014

 

Takes place in the car park of the cricket club @ Norton

 

Open to sellers from 7.30am - £5 per vehicle

Free entry for buyers from 7.45am

 

No need for sellers to book. Free entry for buyers.

Spaces available at our new carboot sale on Abbeydale Road. Just our 3rd in the Sheffield Antiques Quarter and turning into quite a nice local event.. Spots £10 cars and £12.50 vans. Good sellers making upwards of £300. Times are 11am-4pm with sellers setting up from 9am. Entrance £1 (unavoidable cost of running the market ie: market license £120 Insurance, Venue etc etc) but there is a draw with sticker holders able to win £25.. Good atmosphere with local artisan stonebaked Pizzas and motore coffee... Call 07939 565576

As part of this years Herdings Park Festival, Gleadless Valley Community Forum are holding a Car Boot Sale on Saturday 28 June 2014 at Herdings Park, Raeburn Road, Gleadless Valley S14 1SA between 11.00am - 3.00pm.

 

£8 per pitch. Advance bookings only.

IF STALLHOLDERS ARE TAKING £300 AND ABOVE WHY NOT INCREASE STALL RENTS TO £15 AND GIVE FREE ADMISSION, AS IT SHOULD BE FOR A CAR BOOT OF THIS SIZE.

IF STALLHOLDERS ARE TAKING £300 AND ABOVE WHY NOT INCREASE STALL RENTS TO £15 AND GIVE FREE ADMISSION, AS IT SHOULD BE FOR A CAR BOOT OF THIS SIZE.

 

I still say that buyers should avoid this "car boot" sale as it is just an over priced antique fair and the fact that they charge people £1 just to have a look around tells you everything you need to know - it only gets worse when you get inside :mad:

There is a carboot sale on every Wednsday at Oldcotes starts at 8am. Great for selling, i only took home a box of stuff, sold nearly a car full:)

HAVE JUST BEEN TO THIS ONE TODAY( 14th) ON MY WAY TO TORKSEY CAR BOOT.THERE WERE TWO STALLS AT 9.30 AND THE WEATHER WAS REALLY GOOD.
