Reliantrobin Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Just returned from a fantastic Sunday lunch. The food and service is 5 stars. A lovely warm welcome before being seated at our table. There were six in our party, one of whom has a coeliac diet. The choice for them was fantastic and they could do special versions of some of the courses on the Sunday menu and also select off the main menu. Staff were very well informed about the dishes and nothing was too much trouble. With a selection of breads came small Yorkshire puddings with crispy onions and of course Hendersons relish. Choice of 4 starters and 4 mains and 4 puddings. All amazing presentation and taste. 2 courses £20 and worth every penny. Drinks are the average price for a quality restaurant but not too expensive. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is a hidden gem that you want to keep to yourself but this would be a waste as everyone should try it. David and his staff deserve to succeed. They are looking at the market for theatre goers in the near future.
