Sunny_Sheff
I think he means in general not just head to head one off matches. Do u know what the exact head to head figures are tho?
fnkysknky
I can't find them at the moment, just been looking. I remember them being in a special centenery program though in 1989 and United were just ahead - by a few games I think - it was close anyway. As for us not being a big team I'd argue that we are to be honest, both Sheffield teams have always been seen as reasonably big clubs and both have decent honours lists Blades Club Honours Division One Champions: 1897-98 Division One Runners-up: 1896-97, 1899-1900 Division Two Champions: 1952-53 Division Two Runners-up: 1892-93, 1938-39, 1960-61, 1970-71, 1989-90 Division Four Champions: 1981-82 FA Cup Winners: 1899, 1902, 1915, 1925 FA Cup Runners-up: 1901, 1936 Owls Club Honours Division One Champions: 1902-03, 1903-04, 1928-29, 1929-30 Division Two Champions: 1899-1900, 1925-26, 1951-52, 1955-56, 1958-59 FA Cup Winners: 1896, 1907, 1935 FA Cup Runners-up: 1890, 1966, 1993 Football League Cup Winners: 1991 Football League Cup Runners-up: 1993

Lickszz
I think it will be at least 10-15 years before Wednesday will be ready progress.
matsalleh
Your stats prove neither teams are big clubs.70years ago, runners up,low division success, dog`s breakfast cups, don`t mean squat nowadays. Interesting to see wendys have never been 1st division runners up. Cheers

Sam Miguel
The overall success of a football club, has to be the power of the supporter. As a lifelong Wednesday supporter - dormant these days - I feel that a club such as The Great Wednesday who can pull in 20 odd thousand fans week in week out with such a dire team, just have to come good again. Mark my words.
