One made up story is hardly proof that all are totally made up is it? Of course the vast majority of it is because the vast majority of people who go out drinking on the weekends are not service personnel. That said, in the 70s and 80s in the town where I grew up the presence of military bases in and near the town created pretty serious problems. In every town around the country the presence of civilians creates pretty serious problems when combined with alcohol, and during my service time in the 70s and 80s around Portsmouth and Plymouth it wasn't the presence of service personal that was the problem, it was the presence of alcohol. I don't think anyone's suggesting that's right, what also isn't right is people inventing stories to implicate Muslims for the cause of that discrimination.
