ukdobby
Met some mates in Champs and decided to call in the Sheaf 1st,its been a long time since I went in and to be honest was impressed by the selection of ale and price, had a pint of Farmers Blond for £2.20 and it tasted ok.Wetherspoons have gone up in my opinion. POUNDSWORTH
Not a fan of Wetherspoons myself, but had i to choose one, its the Sheaf Island. Loads of space,a nice out seating side area,in a handy location. One to avoid Wagon and Horses , Chapletown.

Lynne1965
I think the Francis Newton on Clarkehouse Road is also a good example of a Wetherspoons.

daveyt2
I think Whetherspoons are brilliant, good ale at a reasonable price, yet to try Sheaf Island. I believe the man who built the chain named it after a former teacher who told him he'd never make anything of his life.

boldforester
If we are on Spoons, the Rawson Spring at Hillsborough is great. Never had a bad pint in there, which is good considering how few of the clientele have more in their vocabulary than "John Smiths" and "carling"

Sorry you got me there, the spelling looks sound, though the use of English looks a little ropey.
