daveyt2
A rogue "H". There is only one "H" in Wetherspoons? Thanks.
ukdobby
Not a fan of Wetherspoons myself, but had i to choose one, its the Sheaf Island. Loads of space,a nice out seating side area,in a handy location. One to avoid Wagon and Horses , Chapletown. I'm not but £3.10 in the Garrison for Moonshine before the match and £2.70 in Kelham for an Osset beer compared to £2.20 for the Farmers gets me to be a bit of one. belperite
I think the Francis Newton on Clarkehouse Road is also a good example of a Wetherspoons. I prefer this one, in general. Nice tranquil area to sit out at the back, unlike the Sheaf where you're just looking at the traffic going past. The Sheaf does beat it for beer choice however. Lynne1965
Did that used to be Aunt Sallys? Yes it did. Has been refurbished inside and out to a high standard since then though.
Fudbeer
In my experience the best "spoons" pubs are The sheaf and The Rawson, Lloyd's is ok too. The ones I avoid are the Palace at Woodseats the Swim the Benjamin Hunstsman and the Bankers.
