Recommend a restaurant please..

looking for family friendly restaurant recommendations for saturday night. there'll be a group of around 10 to 15 including young children. obviously we don't wanna be sat in a quiet 'posh' restaurant, so we're looking for something with a bit of atmosphere. perhaps a nice italian, mexican, american, or english (not indian or chinese). preferrably not a chain, but open to suggestions. needs to have parking nearby

Amigos on London Road: Good food, child friendly. You could probably book the whole of the upstairs section.

thanks pete. i was just reading some other threads about amigos and it sounds good. is there any parking nearby? i'm not familiar with the area

You can park on London Road or on most of the side streets in the evenings - I think.

After weeks of many takeaways went to Amigos last week was most impressed good food and not expensive. Think Corkage is £2 a bottle of wine or £2 per person if drinking beer

I often get takeaways from Amigos and I think it's brilliant (and I'm really fussy!). The chicken wings are amazing - best I've ever had anywhere - and don't forget to have the extras, eg salsa verde, guacamole, chipotle sauce... YUM .

I need somewhere to go with the family and two very fussy eaters on Bank Holiday Monday - having looked at amigos, its not open on Mondays - any other suggestions?
