But, why have we allowed ourselves to be in this position in the first place? I agree, no expert in these matters. We get a lot of our gas from the North Sea, mostly from the Norwegian side now, from Troll via the Ekofisk - Teeside pipeline. It's Germany that is scared, because they buy a lot of Russian gas. They invested heavily in underground storage of Russian gas in depleted reservoirs and I worked on one of the big projects in the 1990s. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
