National teachers' strike set for 26 March

Recommended Posts

Bring in a load of Chinese teachers from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland to teach our kids, they certainly know how to teach the Chinese kids who work harder and do way better than ours, Chinese teachers don't go on strike and have a great work ethic....unlike English and European ones:roll:

I can see that you haven't thought through that post

Yeah, great idea. As soon as they see that british kids don't sit in rows silently and put in seven hours of homework a night and that many parents aren't even interested never mind supportive of their work, they'll know they can't get results over here either.

and therein lies part of the problem! compounded by teachers going on strike.

kids see that teachers just down tools whenever they feel like it or feel hard done too, so the kids think the same?

Teachers don't just down tools when they feel like it - there is a lengthy process that needs to be gone through!

:hihi::hihi: Please tell me you're not a parent! You even blame teachers for the behaviour and worth ethic of some children!
