Sounds a lot like Taybarns at Tankersley but a whole family can eat unlimited there for £17.99 so much cheaper.

we use drawbridge crown carvery at kimberworth

Moorlands at Owler Bar. Standard carvery is £4.19. Been going regularly for 2 or 3 years now and never had a bad one.

Crosspool Tavern.

Lush!

All part of the same chain (along with the De Rodes at Barlborough)

Have for some reason started to do fish and chips on the carvery too. Find it to be just about acceptable, would much rather pay the £1.80 extra and go to the Toby, also Toby do refills on soft drinks too and the ones above do not.

The Toby is just soooo busy that its noisy and you feel rushed.

You dont get time to loosen your belt, have a chat & enjoy your meal.

I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken at the Grays Inn on Eccy rd though. Amazing for only £8
