allwednesday Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 My favourite place for a carvery is a place called twin oaks hotel just off J29 M1 It's had the same owner for a few years proper food all the usual stuff and fresh they even have mash potatoes some places don't do them. All part of the same chain (along with the De Rodes at Barlborough) Have for some reason started to do fish and chips on the carvery too. Find it to be just about acceptable, would much rather pay the £1.80 extra and go to the Toby, also Toby do refills on soft drinks too and the ones above do not. The Toby is just soooo busy that its noisy and you feel rushed. You dont get time to loosen your belt, have a chat & enjoy your meal.
