Oscar Pistorius Trial

Recommended Posts

A clever Lawyer could still get him acquited of first degree murder!

This could all be a show!

Apparently not. They would have to show that he has not been treated within the constitution for him to get an appeal. All the judge has to show is that he/she followed due process. This was the highest appeal court in the land, there is no further appeal court.

This is good news , It cannot give Reeva Steenkamp back her life, nor end the grief of her family and friends, but at least that violent thug will be appropriately punished for his crime.

one of the positive outcome's of the Pistorious case is how its highlighted the difficulties incumbent in trying domestic murders; there are rarely witnesses and the deceased cannot tell their side of the story. I hope her family sue him as well!

another thing that bothers me is we still don't know why he wanted to kill her?. What made him so angry (or scared) that he fired through the toilet door.(4 dum dum bullets:huh:) They hadn't been going out that long.

This verdict doesn't give us any answers as to why he did what he did.

I believe Reeva's parents have already received a sizeable payout from OP, long before it actually went to trial. No doubt with 'clauses'.

Oh?...Right..Well I knew there were payment(s) of some sort...and that article is from October last year...I wonder 'has it been paid back?'...

You must remember, South Africa is a very corrupt country, with a lot of people taking bribes and backhanders...

From the first trail to the second trial of Pistorius, Reeva Steenkamp's family have acted with dignity. I hope they will be able to move on with their life's now the correct verdict has been reached.

How many years will Pistorius serve? At some stage he will be released and be able to continue with his life. The same can't be said for poor Reeva.

Your point being?

Are you implying that the Steenkamps have done something wrong?

He has been portrayed as a very 'insecure' person.

It was Valentines day.

Neighbours say they heard the arguing....

Ummm..No...Not in the least..They've been very dignified throughout.

All I said was that there was some sort of payment (for what I don't know)...and it presumably had strings. So the premise that they should sue, is 'possibly' unavailable to them.
