Bonzo77
New images have started doing the rounds on the interweb! What do you think about the images and/or the whole Nessy 'myth'? Here's a link to the images which have been found on Apple maps. Could it be a surfacing submarine? Or just a marketing ploy by Apple?? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/loch-ness-monster-found-on-apple-maps-9271075.html

Bonzo77
For size and shape it looks like a basking shark swimming just below the service. It's about 100 ft long though, apparently, that's twice the size of a Basking Shark. ---------- Post added 20-04-2014 at 10:30 ---------- It does look like a wake without the boat? ivanava
Can a shark live in a fresh water lake? Not normally but they have been known to swim into fresh water. A Whale shark that swam into a freshwater canal in Taiwan has been returned to the sea by rescuers. The Whale shark, which feeds mainly upon small invertebrates via filter-feeding, is believed to have followed prey shrimp or fish up the canal from the sea. MANILA, Philippines — For the first time, the gentle whale sharks, locally known as “butanding” are venturing into the fresh waters of the Batangas province. For years, fisherfolk living on the coasts of Nasugbu have spotted the butandings in the area. But this is the first time the gentle butanding (Rhincodon typus), the world’s largest fish capable of growing to over 40-feet long, are moving into freshwaters. So it's not a shark, or if it is it'll be floating on it's back and not making a wake because to make it into the loch it'll do have to do a to more than venture up a river. Swimming just below the service would create a service wake which is bigger bigger than the fish.
Jace
Apart from Mountain Biking, There is no reason to venture into Scotland! The Scottish tourist Board need a reason to get peeps to go there, Hence the resurgence of the Lock Ness Monster Myth every year!
