Bilge
Oh dear, it doesn't sound good. Could do the impossible and make Legends look classy.
Halibut
Oh dear, it doesn't sound good. Could do the impossible and make Legends look classy. That would take some doing - and I should know, I used to drink there often enough.
rossyrooney
It was a far better pub when it was called 'The Deep End' when Dan ran it. But he buggered off and it went down hill. That's when it turned into a Weatherspoons. Just can't stand the place now and never go in any more. The bouncer refused me entry in there, when I asked why he said it was because I had Verrucas. boldforester
Apparently Legends has this real classy food menu. But is anyone eating it? Walk past and it's the same old same old warming up their pints of John Smiths. Interesting to see how the Costa at the tram stop will do - I hope it takes the mid morning blue-rinse coffee brigade away from the Rawson, they are a bloody time-consuming pain in the arse when all you're trying to do is get a pint. Constantius
We need something that more 'local'. That would be awesome
Bilge
Still empty and no sign of anything opening in this unit. It's quite a good location for a bar/restaurant I would have thought. Perhaps it could offer something different for the centre of Hillsbro.
Bilge
The window frames have recently been painted (gloss black and very badly) and there are A4 sheets saying reopening soon as 'Yums Express' or something like that. Is it going to be a noodle restaurant or similar I wonder?
Bilge
Seems to be almost ready to open. Basically a Chinese takeaway. Better than an empty unit anyway.
belperite
Seems to be almost ready to open. Basically a Chinese takeaway. Better than an empty unit anyway. It's been open a while now, and *is* a Chinese takeaway. Not too bad either.
