More than 80 real ales, lagers, fruit beers, ciders and a dash of Henderson’s Relish (while stocks last)…the University of Sheffield Students’ Union Beer and Cider Festival is back! As well as more than 80 real ales, lagers, fruit beers and cider, this year’s festival will also feature a German themed bar complete of Steins of Pilsner, with Friday designated German day. On Saturday there will be a Sheffield theme, complete with pies and the city’s favourite condiment, Henderson’s Relish. And on Sunday it’s Pig and Cider Day, with a free range hog roast served by Roneys of Sheffield. Sunday will also be part of Contours Festival 2014 There will also be live folk and acoustic performances throughout the festival performed by some of the area’s best up and coming musical talent. FRIDAY 2ND MAY - THE LAUNCH DAY!!! * Beer Festival Launches at 2pm! * Pick up your tokens from the Stall in the Raynor * German themed Stein Bar * Bratwurst * Cider Tent in the garden * Fruit Beers & Real Ales available from the Raynor Lounge * Food also available until 9pm from the Interval & Bar One * Real ale bar & cider tent close at 12am, Bar One carries on til 1am ___________________ SATURDAY 3RD MAY * From 2pm * Cider, Real Ales & Lager available all day * Pies, Peas and Henderson’s * Token stall available * Food also available from the Interval & Bar One *Live football in Bar One. _____________________ SUNDAY 4th MAY - CIDER DAY & HOG ROAST! * A whole day dedicated to EXTRA CIDER! It's Sunday Cider Day! * Extra Cider Tent in the garden * Extra range & variety of ciders * A whole extra day of drinks, music & food! * Hog Roast from the legendary Roney's butchers (Sharrowvale Rd) at lunchtime with great offers! * Token stall available * There may even be some ales & lagers left!
