cherrypop
There has been a bike shop in Hillsborough on Catch Bar lane for over 50 years. Still going strong selling and servicing bikes. Was originally owned by Bert Beech I think it is now Butterworth Cycles. Much nearer Hillsborough than Langsett Cycles. Yeah. Have you ever been in? Asked them for a quote? Don't bother. ---------- Post added 28-04-2014 at 14:05 ---------- Another...? With exception of the hardware and garden centre all of the other shops are there. A bakery continental style would have my vote. Absolutely another. Just because Hillsborough has (eg) a craft shop, doesn't mean it's good for craft shops. It means there is one mediocre craft shop. Ever heard of clustering? If there were more of a certain type of shop, it'd attract people who shop for craft supplies to the area, and drive up demand, and competition, and standards. And it'd bring business to the area. So, yeah. More independent shops, please.
Cyclone
I bought an inner tube off them, price seemed to be fairly normal.
mrbrit
I'd like to see a Sports direct or something similar. There's nowhere to my knowledge round the area that sells sport equipment.
Annie Bynnol
I bought an inner tube off them, price seemed to be fairly normal. Butterworth's is an excellent shop with a much bigger range and knowledge than the chains (sic)

denlin
I think Hillsborough is missing a cash for gold shop, possibly a pound shop, or even a cheap 'bargains' type shop. There's a poundland in Hillsborough Barracks ---------- Post added 28-04-2014 at 19:16 ---------- A costa coffee maybe? That may be on cards sooner than you think

Prices always seemed to compare with other shops I have used. ---------- Post added 28-04-2014 at 19:31 ---------- I'd like to see a Sports direct or something similar. However, this isn't rally ideal. Looking for somewhere where I can pick up a football or a few tennis rackets and maybe just some simple jogging gear.
