Xerxes

(We are Death Metal band from Sheffield who like our music noisy, our guitars and basses with too many strings, our vocals brutal, and our drums epic. With various influences of modern and classic death metal, prog, black metal, and even the odd classical influence, we try to steer clear of repeating ourselves. We will be adding more death metal spice to the Sheffield gigging scene, and hope to see many of you soon at one of our gigs!)

The stage is shared by the following acts;

Shades Of Avalon

(Shades of Avalon fuse the aggressive vocals of death metal with powerful grooves and a potent sense of melody. The twin lead guitars and counterpointing basslines collide with monstrous drum beats, creating a wall of fist pumping, battle-primed metal that assaults the audience, whilst retaining memorable hooks throughout.

The lyrics draw inspiration from British legend & heritage, from celtic pagan warriors to viking invaders and beyond - historical battles are relayed, wars are relived and odes to honour, pride and bravery are invoked. Expect our shows to be beer drenched, sweat soaked, neck straining warfare... Where only the strongest will survive!!!)

Boycott The Baptist

(Crossing crust/grind with dirty sludge riffs, along the lines of Eyehategod smashing bottles over Wolfbrigade whilst Iron Monkey and Electric Wizard arm wrestle in the pub across the road.)

Back to the Sea

(BTTS - Back To The Sea are a five piece metal band from Sheffield UK. They formed in the new year of 2007 as a four piece and have been going strong ever since producing a range of metal that defines them as an original sound for a broader, more mature musical audience. Describing the sound of Back to the Sea is an onerous task as they rarely seem to follow any set formula, or pre-established routine. Rarely playing the same set twice, Back to the Sea aim to keep you constantly captivated and thoroughly engaged every time they perform.)

Blackened Eyes

Formed in November 2011 under the name Final Strike, by the time it was December had already played all major venues in the Rotherham and Sheffield area, and also branching out towards Nottingham! Final Strike had a few return gigs to the Corporation Sheffield due to killer shows there in the past, things were looking great and we got signed to parabox records in may 2012!

Unfortunately a name change was required, so then began the task of coming up with a new name and so BLACKENED EYES was born, we are now set to record our first album in the coming months and continue our rampage round the U.K so keep an eye out for the BLACKENED EYES

Engraved In Blood

Hailing from the city of Nottingham - United Kingdom, Death metal rockers, Engraved In Blood are

what you get when you hand Pinhead from Hellraiser an electric guitar. Engraved In Blood’s current line up consists of James Quartermaine (ex Aonia/From The Depths) on vocals and rhythm guitar, Danny Phillips (ex The Modcons) on the drums, Mike Bower ( Ex BB Blackdog/Aonia/From The Depths) on the bass, and Tom Else taking up the lead guitar duties. This line-up see’s James & Mike working together again, after a 3 year break.

Suborbital Lobotomy

The band was founded in July 2012 when original members James Brookes, Max Brathwaite, Steampunk Axl and our then bassist John started Jamming in Demolition Studios Sheffield. We have been called "One of the best live bands ever to come out of Sheffield" and are noted for a huge energy filled sets, fantastic songwriting and powerful lyrics.

Dead Sharks and Lost Limbs

http://www.facebook.com/DeadSharksandLostLimbs

(Debut show from Dead Sharks and Lost Limbs, A new band on the scene with members from various other Sheffield and Rotherham bands. These guys will be kicking off the show with their first show under this new name.)
