Waldo
Salsa is fun, but you really need to be patient and persistent in going to lessons too. Lots of places in Sheffield to do it though.

Jive Knight
A recommendation for modern jive here - Despritdan mentioned it as Ceroc but Ceroc is one of the companies that teach modern jive (MJ). They all do it in the same format. Of the groups that do it in Sheffield, I recommend Blitz as they have the biggest attendance and therefore the best choice of partners to dance with. It is a partner dance, but you don't need to have a partner - everyone dances with everyone else. And it's easy to learn (less concerned with getting the footwork perfect than other styles) and you can dance to any sort of music as long as it has a regular beat (though it might not work so well with garage & hip-hop). Search online for Modern Jive to see what the style looks like - there are plenty of videos out there. See you at Crookes!
