Shiesh
If you can get away have a look on http://www.oldenglishinns.co.uk there are some lovely traditional hotels on there and you can get really good discounts by booking last minute. Just click on the late availability button at the top right corner! A lovely restaurant I would recommend would be Que-Tal....278-280 Glossop Rd, Sheffield. Whatever you do, hope you celebrate in style!

fozzybronze
There are one or two establishment I would recommend in Sheffield which is not exactly awash with premium eateries. I would highly recommend Wasabisabi on London Road and book seats at the teppanyaki table as an alternative and highly memorable evening out. http://www.wasabisabi.co.uk/index.htm
