geared
Sounds like the starting line at a race, engines revving to red-line, clutches burning, wheels squealing. It's quite a show for 11am on a Tuesday morning

aliceBB
Thanks to everyone who has contributed information. It has been serviced every six months and driven mainly short distances (6 -10 mile round trips a couple of times a week) but some longer ones every few months or so. I can't believe a 40,000 mile one would be worth more than a 12,000 one? So - are we talking about an asking price for a private sale of about £2,500? alchresearch
Ebay 30 day classified listing would be your best bet, lots of good quality large pictures and as much information as you can think of. Start it at £2500 and if you get no interest after a week, drop it a little. No point starting too low and having some spawny trader snap your hand off and then re-sell it a week later on their forecourt for more. They do with on the free regional Facebook motoring pages. geared
It's free to advertise one car on Gumtree, you might wanna stick it on there as well?
alchresearch
Good idea, and Preloved too. Just remember to ignore any messages from people offering to PayPal or wire transfer the money and they'll send an agent to collect the car.
