Has Farage been telling us porkies? Surely not..

UKIP need to do well if there is to be any change. Firstly, we need to scare the main parties into a changing policy and toughening up. Secondly, we need to scare the rest of the EU by making them realise the people of this country will press the exit button if they do not agree to review freedom of movement laws and reign in other EU laws (especially human rights) not relating to trade.

The EU has told you that the freedom of movement is not up for discussion, the door is open, just walk through it and out of the EU,that is your only option on the table now, vote no to the EU,that is your choice, all the main parties have made their policies clear, the EU has their policy on freedom of movement,it is fundamental to the EU.

And tell me Zamo, how do people with hardly any money travel 2500 kilometres across Europe to get to a country where they have to live without money (benefits) for the first three months at least and probably a lot longer? And, more importantly, how do they get rich whilst being here on 65£ a week whilst having to rent privately?

Please do explain Zamo.

They work together?

A small advanced group with collective money goes first to set up. They rent privately, establish residency, take some work and then start claiming benefits after 3 months. They then send some money back because £1 here buys a lot more there.

Then a second wave comes and moves in with the first wave. Same process as the first wave but no rent so the cost starts to go down. They establish residency and entitlement to benefits. They take up privately rented property and claim housing benefit (whether low earner or non-worker). Send money back and repeat process (doubling up each time) until you have everyone here who wants to come.

Political parties change their policies to suit public opinion, if enough people show them that the free movement of people is something we don't want, then they will do everything possible to change it, if they don't go far enough the people will vote out.

And how many have done that as opposed to the number that has moved across to work?

I saw something along these lines last night on TV.

A polish roofer, when he needs more people to work for him he brings them in from Poland, no advertising here for the positions. Once they are here if he runs out of work they stay and claim benefits.

New immigrants have to pass a Habitual Residence test and a Right To Reside test, the UK government have complete control over whether they allow residence to any EU immigrant.

Ha, ha, ha. You should be on stage.

You tell me? That is the point... the government doesn't count because it doesn't have control.

But I would hazzrd a guess and say there are very few people who move from Britain to Romania or Bulgaria. And none of them will receive financial help from their governments so no burden.

The EU has the power, they don't need to trade anything,it goes on with or without the UK.

It was a very funny joke. You said the UK government had complete control over who it allows to reside. They can't even count how many come in! Ha, ha, ha!!!

If you think it wouldn't damage the EU if the UK left then you need to think again. Besides, the people of the UK are not the only ones with concerns about immigration and/or the EU dictating non-trade related laws. The calls for reform are growing eslewhere in the EU too. The EU is made up of politicians who will all trade principles for power when their power is threatened. There is room for negotiation.

mind you our MPs don't have to live amongst them...too busy scrounging themselves...
