jfish1936
As a youth, lucky enough to live in Sheffield and own a bicycle, I remember visiting a church which had been built in a "Norman" style, with a narrow nave and two narrow aisles. In a later period, I think of the "Decorated" style, one aisle had been widened and was now the main body of the church. I can't remember where it was, but presumably near enough to Sheffield to ride to on a Saturday and return (mind you, I rode London to Sheffield once in one day). Can anyone help me identify it? Blackbeard
Take a look at this site it may bring back some memories, sadly they have lost their funding but it has lots of information on interesting churches in the area. http://www.heritageinspired.org.uk/
