Exactly. Thankyou.

And yet Boris Johnson and his cohorts are not constantly hounded by questions about anti-Islamic problems in the Conservative party over and over again to the detriment of anything else he might want to say.

What like here...

Banjo, I wonder if you think Corbyn will cost the party votes. The reason I ask is I have just been speaking to a bright 80 plus man,a lifelong socialist who will not be voting labour while Corbyn is leader. This isn't the first person to say the same to me.

I’ve just walked down our garden to the bin and have just been speaking to some fairies who are lifelong Tories, they won’t be voting Tory while Bonkers is leader.

British people don't like socialist policies, but they do like the NHS, the state pension, the idea of nationalising most public services and utilities, etc.

Yet the NHS was a Labour policy that they had to fight the Conservatives to get through, and so was the state pension, both very much the backbone of socialist policies. And renationalisation of some Utilities is part of Labour's manifesto.

The Tories have a talent for frightening the electorate with soundbites and propaganda that makes Labour sound like the harbinger of nothing but doom and gloom, whereas the Tory party are the one's born to rule...  I think it's a class thing, and we know how the working class think they should suck up to their betters.

Hi Anna, hope your keeping well..

I don't have to remind you that labour have fought for and got every single benefit that we have..

Sick pay,

Holiday pay,

Minimum wage'

Maternity leave,

Redundancy,

Free travel on buses,

Winter fuel allowance,

Unemployment pay,

I could go on and on, and every time the Tories say, Oh we can't afford that, and scaremonger..

Make no mistake, the Tories will chip away bit by bit, and take everything back.

Hi Padders

I couldn't agree more, this is why I can't understand why ordinary people vote Conservative. You only have to look at how the richest  have benefitted from the Tories at the expense of the poor to get the big picture.  What the Tories have done with 'Austerity' over the last 10 years is nothing short of criminal, yet suddenly with an election in the offing they find the money? Of course 90% of what they offer will not materialise, they are liars whichever way you look at it. They are the party of the elitist few and have proved it over and over again, but still people fall for it

I would rather have Bernie Madoff in charge of public finances than a Labour government, that's why "ordinary" people vote for the tory's. But that will change in this election due to the tory's  being a pro leave party I reckon.

I’ve never met anyone who’s ordinary and votes Tory.

And big fat liars, with no costings despite them also promising the Earth (the cost of brexit running at £6.3bn not withstanding). I’d rather corbyn be in charge - with his many many failures - than Boris Johnson and his bunch of incompetent liars.

I’m extraordinary and voted Tory in the past if that counts.

Sadly you’re now ordinary so you can’t be a Tory.

Well maybe you need to ask a wider circle then.   The Tories got 13.6 million votes last election - that's a hell of a lot of billionaire elites isn't it.

The "few" as Corbyn keeps banging on about is pretty large by the looks of it.
