Good to see an even gender balance on the shadow front bench.

 

I'd prefer the person is recruited on their skills and expertise in the subject, not their gender or colour of their skin.

What would a change of name do? There's already a Liberal Party and so wouldn't be able to use that name anyway. The Lib-Dems have just lost most of their MPs after propping up the Tories for 5 years. I can't see how they can be a credible opposition if they had to oppose the same policies they've just spent 5 years voting for.
