i don't think some have quite twigged that. listening to the views of labour voters who supported kendall or cooper in the leadership election there is utter dismay. many of them seem quite likely to vote ukip, libdem or even conservative rather than labour, but there has been an influx of die hard red flag wavers who paid £3 to vote in the leadership election and we should be surprised or even impressed.

 

corbyn's labour may take votes off arthur scargill's socialist labour party, but they only get votes in the hundreds any way. in the meantime the libdems feel as though they have been cast a lifeline.
