yes, it's official, the evidence proved overwhelmingly, that there is indeed extreme media bias towards Jeremy Corbyn, and Corbyn's Labour party.

Because newspapers contain articles that are what their target audience want to read. I learnt that in GCSE media studies in 1991. Newspapers have no moral obligation to present the news without a bias that pleases their readers and keeps people advertising with them. They are a private business designed to make money. Same as television news. Same as radio news.

There are more right leaning news outlets in the UK than there are left because there is a bigger audience of right leaning people in the UK than there are left leaning people. As proved in every GE since 1979.

He's not the messiah he's a politician.:hihi: He also voted against his own party more than anyone else in the last Government so no-one owes him any loyalty.

I don't like personality politics its the policies that count for me.

Yes, he voted against them because he is a man of principle and the Blairite party were basically just Tory Light, and as corrupt as the Tories. They no longer represented the people who were voting for them, but they voted for them because they had no alternative. He stood for leader because he wanted to offer them that very alternative, and he has been proved correct, a lot of people do want it. That's why the Blairites hate him, he's stopped their little gravy train.

As for his policies, I think they are well thought out, and spot on, and I think he is definately the man to carry them through.

All he has to do is fight a very hostile media to get his message / policies across.

The Establishment/Media meanwhile, know they will be largely popular with a large swathe of the population, so are doing their very best to make sure people don't hear about them. And it's worked. Do you know what his policies are?

He's countered that by sidestepping the media and going on line, via social media etc. (which is why he has a huge following among young people.) And by physically going round the country to speak to the people directly.

And wherever he's been, the people have followed in droves. So worried are the Tories by this, that they have even sneakily perloined some of his policies as their own, but when it comes down to it, have no intention of carrying them out.

So yes, it's the policies that count for me too. But Jeremy is the only one I trust to carry them out.

I've said this before but it does bear repeating.

During the 13 years of new Labour, the gap between rich and poor in society INCREASED.

This is worth remembering, particularly for those who think that a Labour victory at any cost is a worthwhile goal.

Yes, which is further evidence that the Tories are better at running a capitalist society than a right wing Labour Party. As Anna said, Blier's Labour Party is Tory Lite and represents 'no change'.

If people want real change, we need to look outside the social democratic pro free market consensus that our current economic model is the answer.

I'm not saying that Corbyn's Labour is the answer but it's the only game in town at the moment, for real change.
