As far as I know Frank fields is sitting as an independent next time around, lets see how popular he is up against a true socialist labour candidate, his constituents were not happy that he voted siding with the Tories. He was facing deselection by his constituents, so he jumped before he was pushed, good luck on your own Frank, you'll need it

He was facing deselection by his local party - they are two very different things. We will find out who is right at the next general election.

My money is on the MP who has been there for 40 years. Let's put it this way, I hope that's the case.

Thats the point though, no MP should have a job for life, I would like to see mandatory re selection, then the constituents are not stuck with the same MP who is not performing, if he is then he has nothing fear

Jeremy Corbyn has been MP for Islington for 35 years.

And your point is?

Frank Fields has been an MP for 40 years. In response you said that, and I quote, 'no MP should have a job for life'.

Corbyn has been an MP for 35 years.

Presumably you think that's OK, so why is it a problem that Frank Fields has been an MP for about as long?
