You can disagree with someone but still enter into dialogue with them. He could use the opportunity to try to influence them to his way of thinking (God help us if he managed to). By putting a red line in even entering discussions, he's doing something he didn't do when arguing how you need to be prepared to enter dialogue with extremists, and the UK Prime Minister is hardly an extremist compared with, say, Hamas. He's like a petulent child, he's not statesman material.

In a poll yesterday only 25% think he's right to take that stance.

So, most don't agree and that clearly is also cross party voter thinking.

why after the biggest defeat for a PM in commons history - after catastrophic management of Brexit (and having engineered Brexit in the first place by way of the referendum) are people now blaming Jeremy Corbyn for the situation in.

They aren't blaming him. They are saying lets have a cross party discussion, to find a solution we can collectively agree on.

So why aren’t you talking about Theresa May not holding cross party discussions from day one.

We are where we are. She's offered them, way later than she should have, he should join in.
