I never claimed it was fake news.

What I did say was that repeated claims that Corbyn is a terrorist supporter and has met with terrorist organisations is fake news. He has always condemned violence on all sides of a conflict and has never met with any terrorist organisation.

Nice try TCH.

These were your words:

“Again in the interests of rreducing the amount of fake news on this forum as well as being fair to Corbyn, he has never met with Hammas, the IRA or Hezbollah.

And before we waste anymore bandwidth on this, can people resist the temptation to post links to pictures and reports of Corbyn attending events with Palestinian leaders or members of Sinn Fein. This has been done to death.”

So let’s ask the question. Is it still your proposition that  Corbyn has never met with Hammas, the IRA or Hezbollah after I have posted video evidence of the man himself saying confirming what you do stridently deny?

Mt argument isn’t with Corbyn. I don’t think he is a terrorist sympathiser.  I think he is naive and a disingenuous liar.  My problem is with disciples  like yourself who try so desperately to defend him and so blatantly try to argue that black is in fact white.

I dont think you actually read what people write, it was only a couple of posts back when he said "he was not a fan of Corbyn"...and here you are calling him a disciple..

at least have the respect to read what people write if you are going to have a go at them

I read it. But it has as much believability as his claim that JC has never met Hammas or hezbollah, and his refusal to accept video evidence that clearly shows that is not true.

To be honest I couldn’t give a toss about  JC’s past. I have posted here that I admire his principles even if I disagree with them.

What I am contemptuous of is the ability of his fan base to deny things he clearly did, and tell us they didn’t happen. Why? Why do that?  Own it - it’s not big deal.

But please don’t treat us with contempt by asking us not to believe our own eyes and ears.  That is the essence of authoritarianism, something I don’t think he is guilty of but his most fervent admirers are.

I’ve always respected TCH as a poster.  I’ve said that a few times.  But come on - this is beyond the pale.

Or perhaps I’ve got this wrong. When TCH says Corbyn has never met Hammas or Hezbollah, what he really meant to say was that he was looking forward to hosting his Hammas and Hezbollah friends, but he won’t really be involved.

Disciple?

You really are clutching at straws now! 😂

And you’re doing everything you can to avoid having to admit that - yes - he did meet with Hammas and Hezbollah despite you vehemently saying it never happened.

Let it out mate - you’ll feel better when you face it.

I have never denied that he has met with political representatives of militants in both Ireland and Palestine. What I said was that he had never met with those militant groups themselves. You may not think that the difference is significant. I do when he is being accused of meeting terrorist organisations and being a terrorist supporter.

My use of the term IRA rather than Sinn Féin was the clue to what I meant.

BTW a couple of SF posters who I know in real life were very amused by your claim that I am a Corbyn disciple! They found it very funny 😂😅😀

I suggest you watch the video where he talks about how is looking forward to meeting his friends from Hezbollah and Hammas the following day.

Seems cut and dried to me.

Any reasonable person would argue that such a clip directly contradicts your quoted statement that he hasn’t met Hezbollah or Hammas. Those are your words.

Anyway. I’m bored now.

Im off for a shisha!

Chuka Umunna, who resigned from the Labour party because he hates Socialism but loves the EU, is being funded by Jeremy Isaacs, a City banker and Tory party donor. Umunna accepted a £10,000 donation from Isaacs for “funding the salaries and expenses of staff in my office”.

Jeremy Isaacs is a City banker that has donated over £500,000 to the Tories since 2006, and has attended Conservative dinners with David Cameron and Theresa May. He was a senior banker at Lehman Brothers, the bank whose collapse sparked the 2008 global financial crisis. Isaacs also funded the Remain campaign in 2016.

The Independent Group stands for rule by the bankers.
