No skeletons in his closet, said with tongue in cheek I hope. Their are photos too numerous to post of Corbyn cosieing up to and pictured with people who are an affront to humanity, and the Country is expected to  vote for this man. He is a joke, a bad joke at that.

Whether you are referring to his involvement in Ireland or the Middle East,Corbyn has been the subject of a smear campaign because he has favoured a peaceful solution to historical problems.

Conflicts are only ultimately resolved by negotiation and he has consistently been more of a hawk than a dove.

He has condemned acts of terrorism and sought other means of achieving peace.

No one should fall for or propagate this type of smear ,whoever the victim .

A question for maybe Mz Abbott to answer. Labour intend to raise 80 billion by taxing the top 5% more, anyone on £80,000+ as it happens. I assume this extra tax will be pro rata, but it throws up an interesting fact if just equelled out for all. There are 32.54 million workers in the UK, 5% of this figure gives approx 1600000. So £80 billion divided by the 5% figure gives a £50,000 extra  tax bill each. The 150 billionaires in the country can easily afford the tax that will be levied, but what about those on 80k up, what will their extra tax burden be, pro rata, any one costed that yet.

It's also worth remembering that a tax on income is unlikely to affect billionaires, whose 'income' is often negligible.

I don't know why he posted the wrong links.  Googling "plymouth voting" brings up plenty of news articles from the past few days:

Labour have a majority of nigh on 7,000 (over 50% of voters in the last election voted Labour) - hardly a marginal per the post I originally replied to - so a few hundred votes is hardly likely to make a great deal of difference.  The original mistake appears to belong to the University - not some sort of attempt at vote rigging.

Putin isn't even in the Communist Party.

0/10 - fail.

Could = past tense in the context of the reply.

Hope that helps.

Didn't they get Al Capone for tax evasion, by proving his outgoigs were more than his income?

Their income is negligible according to their accountants but somehow they can live a lavish lifestyle and see their fortunes increase.

Good if you can get away with it.

Income and wealth are different things. You can be wealthy and have a limited 'income'. Steve Jobs was paid $1 a year as CEO of Apple.
