Not sure why Jess Phillips thought she had the necessary clout or depth to even imagine she could win a leadership contest.

I think what you see of her is all there is to see, nothing underneath it.

I can’t imagine what the selection process was like when she was chosen as a candidate by her local constituency to contest an election.

I’ve never seen her answer any complicated questions or to be fair even asked one.

Staggering. Truly staggering.

Other critics claim she rarely spoke out on difficult issues - from anti-Semitism to Brexit - during her years in shadow cabinet.

Some, including her supporters, have blamed it on shyness.

She laughs that off. “I’m not shy, I was too busy working.

I was locked in a room for four years developing a lot of the policies that were in the manifesto, rather than going around wining and dining.”

But not too busy making her opinion known on Twitter for absolutely everything else which was a "safe topic".

Ah the old tabloids. To be fair while Long Bailey was working with Starmer and Corbyn as part of the Shadow Brexit team and producing Labours Environment Strategy for the election, ( whatever you may think of it), the vacuous one " down to earth" was hawking her moral conscience around newspaper offices and Television and Radio stations, being "real"

Reality is " Jess" has bailed out at the first hurdle, better to not subject her to too much scrutiny.

It’s not her links to Corbyn that scare me.

I’m much more worried by her lack of basic skills.  She can’t construct a grammatically correct sentence. She couldn’t keep hold of an argument in a bucket.

Anyone voting for RLB is participating in a vanity project, not the election of a serious political leader.

i wouldnt worry too much about  her constructing a grammatically correct sentence, or her basic kills, we currently have Doris at the helm and it didnt matter too much to stop  him getting elected
