Ukip. All discussion here please.

It would be more beneficial if an unbiased report on UKIPs manifesto was reported and the number of people who voted in favour of it leading to them(the newspapers) to press for a reform in the voting system as obviously the 2 major parties will not as it isn't in their interests.

Remember it is sensationalism that sells newspapers and don't be taken in by it.

Ok,Sorry, the newspapers are making it all up............nobody in UKIP has said a Dickey Bird.

It has happened but the importance of a post election squabble is not as important as highlighting the present voting system inadequacies which is not getting the same amount of media coverage.

It is important, because it shows that if we had the voting system that you described,we would have had this bunch having some sort of power, which they have demonstrated by the mud slinging going on between them at the moment, they should get nowhere near.

We are now post election and my point is that the media should be focusing on issues which can affect the future of the country.

It is irrelevant that UKIP is the party causing focus to be brought on the election process the main point is that the 2major parties will not alter the system and therefore it is virtually irrelevant for any other parties to stand for election in the hope that they can form a government.

None of which has anything to do with the UKIP mud slinging contest.Apparently, what you are saying is that UKIP should have all the publicity when they are 'telling it like it is' to the general public, but no publicity when they are 'telling it like it is' to themselves.........news and media outlets don't work that way............political parties in turmoil is big news, and neither Farage,as someone who courts publicity,or anyone else in UKIP has control of a publicity tap that they can turn on or off depending on what news they like reported,or not reported about them.

I fully accept your points.

Perhaps UKIP need to more disciplined in relation to divulging internal matters to the media.

4 million voters say they should, that's democracy.

Perhaps? Back in UKIP Squabble Land Carswell has called on Farage to resign.

It's funny how Kippers don't mind the publicity they generate from laying into foreigners but when they lay into each other they think they should be covered by the Official Secrets Act.

UKIP activist sanctioned by the party to encourage anti Farage protests.......another reason why the UK had a lucky escape.

But the Stand Up to Ukip group claims the insider went even further than just trying to infiltrate their activities and tried to encourage the campaigners to behave badly and abuse Farage, which could potentially have discredited them.

The votes they got before the public has become aware of the load of mud slinging backstabbers they are.
