The ignorance of some people is beyond me!

People see something on Facebook and the just hit 'like' and 'share', without any knowledge of the consequences of their actions.

This one got me going today - http://tellmenow.com/2014/05/muslim-nurses-no-longer-required-to-wash-hands-before-medical-procedures/ - I instantly thought, 'this doesn't sound right to me', and Googled it.

The policy clearly states that Muslim Nurses have to wash their hands, just the same as every other Nurse.

The best thing is, the woman who posted this dump on my news feed......is a nurse!?!?

At least facebook gives you a chance to correct this idiocy and maybe make these people thing before they share something again.

You get the chance to write a comment at least. But think of the amount of people that have seen the headline and thought it was true before it got to my news feed. No wonder there's a racist epidemic at the moment!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1577426/Female-Muslim-medics-disobey-hygiene-rules.html

Women training in several hospitals in England have raised objections to removing their arm coverings in theatre and to rolling up their sleeves when washing their hands, because it is regarded as immodest in Islam.

Universities and NHS trusts fear many more will refuse to co-operate with new Department of Health guidance, introduced this month, which stipulates that all doctors must be "bare below the elbow".

The measure is deemed necessary to stop the spread of infections such as MRSA and Clostridium difficile, which have killed hundreds.

Minutes of a clinical academics' meeting at Liverpool University revealed that female Muslim students at Alder Hey children's hospital had objected to rolling up their sleeves to wear gowns.

really not as bad as they say but stupid nevertheless,

People just share things without it crossing their minds to check anything about them.

Quite a few of my friends that live in Yorkshire shared a photo of a missing girl last week obviously without even clicking on it to read any comments. If they had theyd have realised she was found safe and sound near home (somewhere in the USA!) in 2012!
