Craigus_1988
Hiiii, Recently got into bouldering and I am making frequent trips to the climbing works in Sheffield! trackside
Get on the ukclimbing forum. It's a great resource for finding climbing partners and you'll be able to find someone who can take you outdoors too. Also there are some outdoor boulders in some of the sheffield parks which are a great way to meet other climbers.
connor-2409
I think there is a place in stavely which is supposedly really good. My friend goes alot and always talks about how great bouldering is. might have to join him.

Cycleracer
Bouldering, not familiar with this, is it like rock climbing but climbing a single boulder instead. I saw some people one day while out walking in the peaks climbing a single boulder, they had no ropes just a mat at the bottom so i persume this is "bouldering" it didn't look easy though, it was very cold and very windy and it was Moorland so they could have been blown off when they got on the top
BoyFromSmoke
A lot of the boulderer's that visit the edges around Sheffield should learn to live by the outdoors biggest rule.... Leave nothing but footprints... The white dots of chalk all over the boulders do stick out a tad
