Chrissoftley
what about one of these http://www.henrykrank.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2964 bolt it to the inside of the shed with the wire to the door giving yourself enough slack to be able to open the door far enough to get your arm in, I used to have one on my gate, you should have seen the little **** run when he set it off. alarmingmark
Get a normally open contact ( used for cctv) wire one side of the siren to the battery the other via the contact and a switch. Pm me if you need one.
willman
You could use a plunger switch as on car doors. Fit it into the door jamb of the shed by drilling.
monkey104
You should be able to pick up a couple of contact switches quite cheaply at Maplins.

Jace
I picked a shed alarm up from wikes, £15. works of a key fob, ir motion detection, can't remember if it's 95 or 115db, I put it behind a well fixed cage so it can't be Tampered with easily. either way don't test it in front room. I'm still deaf.
