Coutts
You've got to love BEDROCK, someone knocks on his door and within minutes he's signing up to a monthly direct debit payment. Funny stuff.
southsheff24
If it didn't pay the charities wouldn't sign up to it. Home Fundraising get a commission of the first 'so many' payments then the money goes directly to the charity. It earns millions for the charities that sign-up and they have hardly anything to put upfront apart from some merchandise. you should take a looking at some of these charity managers always on good suits and expensive cars, easy money in a way how homefundraising explained it was that they are basically getting something for nothing even after paying for the company to get the sign ups

I'm sure the charities do get money out of it, but as someone has said before these door-step sellers bounce from one cause to the next, they are sales people first and foremost not people passionate about the charities they are representing. I wonder how many people get talked into signing up, and simply cancel the agreement and stop donating all together either directly or via any other means due to these tactics.
