Car MOT information?

Recommended Posts

No you do not:

https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/Default.aspx

All you need is the number plate and car make, it tells you the tax status too (free government site)

Thats simply to check if it's valid and when it's valid too tho, for more detailed info use the link barleycorn posted.

Am I missing something..I've just done that but it didn't say anything re MOT...?

Well I suppose it's a government service, you can't expect it to work all the time :hihi:

Pretty good usually tho, I always forget the exact date of the MOT so it's good to be able to check without having to rummage around for the previous years certificate.

I swear they're harder to find now it's just a simple white sheet of paper, at least before you knew to look for the green coloured one.
