I have a small personal pension,very small which i want to transfer to a larger pot. Both with Scottish Widows btw. They've advise me i need a financial advisor to do the transfer. I even mentioned that the amount was so small i might donate it to charity ,at which point he said i'd need an FA for that as well. Anybody heard anything so daft. Mr Bloom Posted June 19, 2014 Share Posted June 19, 2014 I think it was PACE I used. I met up with them for about an hour. One of the best uses of an hour of my life. I only wish I'd have gone the whole hog and done everything they had suggested as I would be a lot better off now. Their advice was free but I think they might get a cut from whoever you transfer to (can't remember how it works now, they did explain fully.)
