50,000 protest Austerity

Recommended Posts

What does the state pension have to do with people that are able to work receiving money for doing nothing?

Because people are paying for other peoples' state pensions, just like I am paying for some OAP's right now

I think we who work hard and do the right thing people should take to the streets and do an anti protest, thanking Cameron and Clegg Osborne and Cable for the great job they are doing.

Wont happen of course because we are too busy working and earning and paying tax to keep the idle in the luxury they become accustomed to.

It already has happened Hillpig:

PS Referring to the Monarchy as idle who the taxpayers are working to keep in the lifestyle they've become accustomed to, is a bit radical, even for you Xenia :)

Did anyone else know that this was happening?.

we have to face it the main stream press in this country is being controlled by the goverment so much that big stories like this just slip under the radar.

Over 50,000 people estimated today for #nomoreausterity in London

Same with this story......

@OwenJones84 Probably the same "security concerns" that prevented them reporting the 60,000 in Manchester on the #SaveTheNHS march last year

At lest he has got his views across....https://t.co/99vrAE6cJT

And it will be featured on R.T.

So over 69 million didn't protest then.

What the UK needs is 50,000 people to suddenly stop paying for their TV license sky subscriptions, parking fines, congestion chargesa nd so on....... We all need to stop feeding these greedy parasites our money. Then bring the whole City of London to a standstill.

Our neighbouring French citizens don't tolerate this austerity nonsense and stealth taxes. When they try Paris very quickly comes to a complete standstill. Their government is very quickly reminded they're there to serve us, and we not here to serve them.

And don't forget they have a tendency to start cutting off heads if the posh people get a bit too uppity.

Our neighbours in France are leaving in their droves if they have a few euros, and a chunk of them are coming over here. 270,000 in London and at least one on Sheffield forum (although he's been here a while;)). Our unemployment rate is 7.2% and theirs is 9.1%. And everyone is going through austerity nonsense, we are fairing better than most. Go to France and have look (please be a dear though and bring back an English person trapped there in poverty.)

Don't confuse people with sense.

They don't get it.

edit, more importantly, looking at that link, have you seen the current most viewed BBC story?

:hihi:

'A man has had to be rescued by firefighters in Germany after becoming stuck inside a stone vagina'.

:hihi:

Something to tell the grandkids? Unlikely to get away with things like this these days when people can tweet things on facebook type things.

Do you not consider this to be scraping the bottom of the barrel of a lost argument? :hihi:

Your argument was lost, I think, when you posted this

Very poor, even by your standards.

I prefer to think I never lose of win arguments because, in the end, it doesn't achieve anything. So why do you think I was wrong?
