Guest busdriver1
Apparently its OK for pensioners to spit in the faces of the police, they are 64 and 65 you know.... Also heard that a certain trade union are prepared to pay their fines.
Eater Sundae
Another example of terrible law-interpretation. This anti-terrorism law is a bloody joke and needs to be reversed as soon as possible. A catch-all, a bit like the sus laws.
No User Name
Also heard that a certain trade union are prepared to pay their fines. Please tell me it isnt ASLEF or the RMT? Surely they should be supporting their staff against the scurge of fare evaders?!
truman
Please tell me it isnt ASLEF or the RMT? Surely they should be supporting their staff against the scurge of fare evaders?! Don't those two unions usually delight in biting the hand that feeds them? If so it would be par for the course...
CheekyBandit
So you object to them balancing their books? interesting. The could do a better job at balancing their books but not committing to pointless white elephant schemes (that are likely to be overdue and over budget) such as tram-train trials. It will be very much like the Cambridgeshire Misguided Busway.

mrs brady
Wow I really didnt think the incident involved all these crimes , rather than a fine I think a custodial sentence would be more appropriate . These people need taking off our streets. It's a disgrace,it truly is. pfffft
No User Name
Apparently this is going to get a half hour slot on the jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2, starting at noon. Dunno which half hour though (he usually spends half an hour on 4 different topics)
SportsTrophy
The mission of the Sheffield Pensioner Freedom Riders has been trebly achieved by 1. Getting what the feel they rightly deserve. 2. Publicising their action for national news coverage. 3. Getting arrested before they die (life achievement list)
No User Name
The Sheffield pensioners should move to North Yorkshire and then go and get a train between York and Harrogate. See what happens.
