So a protest about free train travel, should they do it on a bus, or maybe at a taxi rank, or maybe an airport. Then who is to blame for the protest taking place in the station.. hmm lol Have you seen the videos? There's no way that the less than ten police could have attempted to kettle that group. And there's no way they would attempt to either, there's far too much risk of someone ending up falling off a platform. You might want to look back at the early posts in this thread, looking out for the ones by people witnessed the events. They seem to agree that the initial protest was met by Revenue officers, who eventually had to call for backup. Not the current "the police where there in force and decided to kettle us for no apparent reason", which appears to be completely baseless. They wilfully ,and deliberately, and also made it quite clear they were going to not pay and break the law. I hope the man who had to be restrained after lashing out at the police recieves a custodial sentence as he deserves one. I agree but unfortunatly the lefties you see on the forum believe we should get something for nothing and if we dont protest and break the law. Its utterly disgusting what the pensioners are doing.
