No User Name
No actually, it does not happen as we are discussing transport, not food or fuel supplies. Don`t think prices do increase on the buses, trams or even taxis do they, so that`s a non-argument. (Taxis put up the price xmas eve/new year etc). So at peak times, then
mart
So at peak times, then and down again a few days later. Not even bright enough to make the distinction then:hihi:

dvp82
I'm sure black taxi cabs have different tariffs depending on the time of day.
Janus
Nice to give BTP and Northern advance warning so they can throw up some ticket barriers I understand the idea is based on maximum publicity as opposed to any element of secrecy The protest details have been handed out to the general public on bright yellow postcard size leaflets for maximum publicity of the events. So the prices going up, generally, on First and Stagecoach about 18 months ago are figments of our collective imaginations, then? Same as the announcement that fares on certain routes were to increase from 20th July 2014.

Alan Ladd
I haven't the faintest idea what your problem is but I'm guessing it's hard to pronounce! For you? impossible.
dosxuk
Wake up. We`re on about peak time fare prices not general price increases of transport:roll: Railways, ferries and airlines have always charged more for the more popular travel times. Coaches do too, as do black cabs. In fact, the only form of transport that I can think of that doesn't vary it's prices is busses, and that's probably because of rules that prevent them from doing so.
