Chris Goodwin - double bassist - has been a regular on the Sheffield Jazz scene for a number of years playing alongside pianist Ralph Salt. Having played mostly instrumental music from Bebop to Bossa Nova, Chris recently decided to start a new musical project with a guest saxophonist - joining him this evening will be supreme saxophonist Pete Moxon. Expect to hear driving improvisation during the up tempo numbers and lush harmony to accompany the band's slower ballads - modern Jazz interpretations of great compositions by the likes of Gershwin and Cole Porter!
