BIGREDSOFA Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 With 6 children aged between 5 and 12 and 2 adults its hard to find any free things to do. We've done the local parks and galleries like Hillsborough (we don't drive) but a tram/ bus to the city centre uses up £16.40 of our small £20 weekly 'fun' budget. Even a day at the swimming baths costs £34 for 2 family tickets. Everything seems to cost money and we just don't have it available to spend.... ...does anyone have any ideas on low cost/ free days out? P.S. One of the adults and one of the children have physical disabilities and two have learning disabilities as well as ADHD, the youngest also has SCD. Woodyspatch Posted August 1, 2014 Share Posted August 1, 2014 It's a nice walk on the canal, can walk from canal basin to meadow hall or visa versa but it would need a tram fare one way and a sunny day.
