cat631
Nature must have taken over again. In June 2013 the old church yard was given a good clear out by Sheffield Council workers to uncover long lost graves and paths. I could only find two of the three war graves registered here, William Kent and John Barwell. The other being of John Dickinson. Their headstones appear to have been renewed recently. Pt. Barwell and Pt. Dickenson are shown as living at Draper Street and Upwell Lane respectively with both being remembered on St. Thomas's Roll of Honour. There are no details for Pioneer William Kent and his name is not shown on The Roll of Honour so how he came to be buried here will probably remain a mystery.
