Dardandec
A full service is usually, but not limited to- Engine oil and filter change. Fuel filter change. (If it is an external one) some are in the fuel tank so could be an extra charge to fit that. Air filter change. Spark plug change on petrol's. (If they are standard plugs) Tyre pressure check and adjust. Full vehicle safety check and report, including light operation and condition, also wiper blade condition and washer operation. Extras would be- Pollen filter. Brake fluid change. Coolant change. Gear oil and diff oil change (Where applicable). Geometry check and adjustment. Air-conditioning re-gas and sanitise. Cambelt (Where applicable) Drive belt Tyres. Brakes. Bearing in mind this is not a "rule of thumb" its just a rough guide. Some garages "Full services" aren't as "Full" as some people think
skat man
It means a cup of tea for 20 minutes doing nothing to your car and charging for it at most garages. Insist on standing and seeing them do the work! .
