On a serious note - what a shame we lost something so good - the tragedy is it never even reached its full potential when it was open - could have been fantastic up there. There is a growing alternative sport scene in this country. The site could have been expanded for more slopes; hotels and all sorts of other businesses could have sprung up around it to feed of it and support it and regenerate the entire area, but alas it wasn't to be.
