It smells horrible, even with the doors and windows closed I can now smell it from a mile away indoors. Perhaps burning plastic? Now thick black smoke as well. It must be a driving hazard as well as a breathing hazard. It would seem an odd place to dump tyres as it's well up from the village between what were the ski runs - doubt if you could get a vehicle up there.
