Western shops are taking Kosher food off the shelves the last I heard because of protests.

It seems like the wool has been lifted from our eyes at least, not just wait until they wake up in the US.

What a load of rubbish.

no, they are not. People are entitled to boycott goods from Israel or Saudi Arabia, but why should Jewish or Muslim people in New York, or Sydney have the goods and services they provide, blackballed just because of what a government does in Tel Aviv or Riyadh? Are you saying that is OK for all Jewish and/or Muslim people to be boycotted because of what Tel Aviv or Riyadh does, just because they are Jewish or Muslim?

Yes. It's a matter of choice based on personal interpretation..you may disagree but quite frankly, tough.

Many on here advocate boycotting Muslim goods for many reasons..haven't noticed your objection to that.

I agree, its sad though that some think violence is a good way to encourage others to boycott Jewish goods, or violence to force shops to stop selling Jewish goods.

It's the nature of the beast. Violence has always been a tool to "encourage". We alone are not adverse to that, and never have been.

Probably because the people boycotting Islamic goods don't feel the need to use violence as a means to encourage others to boycott Islamic goods.

Firstly you'd have to provide evidence that Muslim goods are being boycotted.."probably" isn't evidence.

Israel is propped up by US money;

"Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $121 billion (current, or non-inflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance".

Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed approximately $5 billion in bilateral assistance to the Palestinians, who are among the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid.

The US Congress authorizes $500 million in annual aid Washington sends to the cash-strapped Palestinian Authority.

I think you'll find most countries in the area are propped up by the Russians and Chinese, certainly in military hardware terms. You point is?

If it gets a message across that what they are doing is wrong then most certainly yes.

Lets not pretend for one moment that the people you talk of are impartial, most of them are very vocal about this and are very active in the media in their support.

In fact Boycotting is the only way you can get your point across with how good these people are at spreading their propaganda and shouting down people that oppose whats happening. At least no one can lie their way out of a Boycott.

The point is that if the US see a change in attitude towards Israel then they may just wake up themselves and stop sending money and arms over for them to kill innocent people with.

The money sent by America helps to fund the Iron Dom system which saves Israeli lives. It doesn't fund their military operations in Gaza.

People are within their right to boycott or simply chose not to buy produce, whether that be Jewish or Muslim.

Some retailers are removing Jewish produce which restricts the buying of Jewish produce., which effectively does damage to the producer. Subsequently retailers are not removing halal produce or any produce sold by independents or Muslims, in fact some retailers are actually changing their policy which actually caters for Muslims and those not averse to halal produce depending on demographics or choice.

Saying I don't buy a product isn't evidence of any figures...you could be lying to to bolster your stance on this thread, in the same way I could be bulling that I'm boycotting kosher...then again I don't have to bull, kosher/Jewish produce is being removed..and evidently so. Now back to your initial question, can you give figures showing how Muslim outlets are being affected by your custom, or the lack of it?

???? Why on earth are you asking ME?? I was the one asking for the figures so its obvious I dont have them!!!

seeing as the GDP of Israel is around $250 billion, the value of the average annual US aid it receives of around $3 billion is a drop in the ocean - a bit more, than 1% of the total. Whereas the proportion of US aid the Palestinians receive in the West Bank is much more substantial - more like 10% of their GDP, and also as stated, much higher on a per capita basis.
