Quiz league seeks new teams 2014-15

The Sheffield Catholic Quiz League are looking for new teams for the 2014-15 season.Games (on Thursdays) are played head-to-head on a home and away basis by teams of four choosing from questions set by the league's teams.The questions are general knowledge and NOT FOR MONEY OR BEER VOUCHERS..just friendly competition and a trophy at the end.Home teams need a quiet room, someone to read the questions and provide sandwiches at the end.The current venues all have access to a bar though this is not vital. A pre-season fixture meeting will take place at St.Vincent's CMS on Solly Street on Thursday 2nd October 2014. Got involved with this league for the first time last season having seen this message a few times. Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to being involved again this season.

After losing a venue and the two teams who played there the league is looking for new teams or individuals to restore the league to the format mentioned in previous posts on this forum.A meeting at De La Salle club will take place on Thursday 7th October 2016(830pm).Interested ?
